Built by film fans, for film fans
Every Movie Plug was born out of a passion for storytelling. It has grown into a community of film lovers, with more than 2.3 million followers on X, and this website is the home for the longer work that does not fit in a post: news reports with their sources attached, explainers and timelines, craft and box office analysis, and tools for finding something good to watch.
We are an independent site. Our goal is simple: be a trustworthy, readable place to follow cinema and television, whether you want today’s headlines or a deep dive into how a film was made.

Editorial standards
How we work
- We show our sources. News stories name the outlets they draw on and list them at the bottom of the page, so you can read the original reporting. When reports conflict, we say so instead of picking one quietly.
- We separate news from opinion. Reported stories live in News. Analysis and opinion live in Articles.
- We update instead of repeating. When a story develops, we update the original page with the latest facts and mark it “Updated” rather than publishing near-duplicates.
- We correct mistakes. If you spot an error, email [email protected] and we will review it and fix it.
- We are not paid for coverage. We do not accept payment to feature a title, and advertising never decides what we write about.

Where our information comes from
Movie and TV listings, posters and trending data come from TMDB. Streaming availability is provided by JustWatch, and critic and audience scores are shown with the help of third-party rating sources. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Film and TV titles, posters and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
