Apple TV Releases Trailer for Heist Drama 12 12 12 With Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan

The eight-episode series premieres November 13 and follows a Zurich bank vault raid across three timelines.

Apple TV has released the trailer for 12 12 12, a heist drama starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. The series premieres globally on Friday, November 13 with its first two episodes, then releases weekly through December 25, according to Apple's press release dated October 13.

Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent and Dornan plays an American career criminal in a cat-and-mouse game across Europe. The story centers on a raid on a bank vault beneath the streets of Zurich. The title refers to the heist's three timelines, and each of the eight episodes is built around 12 months of planning, 12 hours of the heist itself and the 12 days after, per Apple.

In the trailer, Mackie's character calls the plot “the biggest banking heist in the history of Europe,” and Dornan's mastermind suggests he is stealing so his family can build a life together, according to AV Club. Mackie's character says he believes in revenge for being robbed. The trailer does not reveal what the crew is stealing.

Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis also star. Mackie and Dornan are executive producers. Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble created the series, and Kari Skogland, who directed Mackie in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, directs multiple episodes including the pilot.

Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce. Dark Horizons says filming took place in Budapest and Texas.
