Avatar: Seven Havens has been renewed for Books 3 and 4 at Paramount+. The announcement was made at the show's New York Comic Con panel on Friday, October 9, the same day its first three episodes arrived on the streamer, according to Variety.
Three more episodes arrive each Friday through October 30. Book 2 does not yet have a premiere date. TVLine calls the renewal quick, since the series had only just premiered. Paramount+ says Books 3 and 4 will continue the story of Avatar Pavi and her twin sister Nisha.
The series was created by Avatar: The Last Airbender co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who were joined at the panel by executive producer Ethan Spaulding, co-executive producer Sehaj Sethi and voice actors Saheli Khan, Aishu Devan and Major Curda. It is set 225 years after the end of The Legend of Korra, in a world shattered by a cataclysm. Pavi, voiced by Khan, is a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar, only to learn that the title marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior.
Paramount+ also announced a new animated series, Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, about the teenage Avatar Kuruk. A Seven Havens podcast and a Seven Havens expansion for the game Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game are also coming, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Paramount+ is now part of the company created by the Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery merger, which you can read about in our report.
