A new leak claims that Star Wars Jedi 3 will launch in 2027, with marketing starting soon. It comes from a leaker called FivesWalker, who wrote that the game will arrive next year and that its marketing will begin sooner than people think, according to Screen Rant. The leaker said they would bet on a reveal before The Game Awards on December 10.
Treat it as a rumor. EA, Respawn and Lucasfilm Games have not confirmed any date, title or reveal window. The only confirmed fact is that Respawn is making a third game, and no title, platform, gameplay or release date has been announced. FivesWalker is a relatively new account, but allthings.how reports that it has been credited with accurate details about Maul – Shadow Lord before they were reported elsewhere.
Why 2027 is plausible. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launched in 2019 and Jedi: Survivor in 2023, so a 2027 release would match Respawn's usual four-year gap. Notebookcheck also notes that May 25, 2027 is the 50th anniversary of the original Star Wars release, although there is no sign the game will launch on that date. Earlier this year, rumors pointed to a 2026 launch, but no game has been revealed.
Cameron Monaghan is expected to return as Cal Kestis, according to Notebookcheck. Jedi: Survivor ended with a number of storylines open, and the third game is expected to be the conclusion of Cal's story. Respawn said it remained committed to the game after EA cancelled two other early-stage projects in 2025, Gamer Rant reports.
