Marvel has moved up the premiere of VisionQuest by one day. The first two episodes will now stream on Disney+ on Tuesday, October 13, at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET), instead of October 14, according to ComicBook.com and Laughing Place. The studio also published the titles of all eight episodes.
Under the revised schedule, future episodes will drop on Tuesdays rather than Wednesdays. The episodes are listed as follows:
- October 13: Episode 1, “No Strings,” and Episode 2, “Theseus”
- October 20: Episode 3, “Reboot,” and Episode 4, “Malware”
- October 27: Episode 5, “Firewall,” and Episode 6, “Deadlock”
Laughing Place reports that the final two episodes will arrive individually, with Episode 7 due in November. Exact dates for those were not available in the reports reviewed.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, with James Spader back as Ultron. The cast also includes Emily Hampshire, James D'Arcy, Orla Brady and Ruaridh Mollica. Terry Matalas serves as showrunner, and the eight-episode series is part of the MCU's Phase Six. It concludes the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along, and it picks up one year after the events of WandaVision.
Early reviews are mixed to positive. VisionQuest held an 87% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes as of Monday, according to Just Jared, though critics are divided. One review argued it might be the most passionless Marvel series, while ComingSoon rated it 7 out of 10.
